UFC announcer Bruce Buffer has refused to call MMA fighter Jim Miller by his preferred nickname at UFC 300.

Last month, Miller said he wanted Buffer to introduce him as Jim “F*cking” Miller for when he faces Bobby Green in the octagon on April 13.

However, Buffer said he doesn’t like cursing in his job and is very particular about what he says. While Buffer said he respects Miller’s wishes, the announcer remains adamant about not saying Miller’s requested nickname unless he is ordered to do it.

“At this point, the answer is no. I’m not going to say it. I appreciate all the fans pushing me for it and everything else. I’d go Jim ‘Friggin’ Miller, maybe,” Buffer said.

Miller has always been known as “A-10,” but he said in a recent interview that he would love to hear the new nickname in front of the fans. “That would get me super fired up,” he said.

Miller said that he deserved to be called Jim “F*cking” Miller, claiming that he had proven himself both inside and outside the octagon.

“I earned that nickname from a guy that was matchmaking at UFC 2. When Joe Silva calls you that, it’s pretty cool. I’m glad that the fans are behind it. It’s not the easiest nickname to promote, but it’s there,” Miller said.

Million dollar career 4g3s2r

While Buffer’s decision to reject Miller’s request is understandable, it might disappoint many fans who want to see Miller get his dream introduction.

Miller’s fight with Green will make him the only fighter to have competed at UFC 100, 200 and 300.

Even if Buffer does not say his new nickname in the arena, Miller might still hear it at some point during UFC 300 as Jon Anik, the UFC commentator, hinted that it could happen at the official weigh-ins.

According to UFC CEO Dana White, Miller has been a successful and loyal fighter for the UFC, earning millions of dollars in his long career.

Miller has never been a UFC champion, but he has set many records in his career. He is still winning fights at the age of 40, backing his status as a respected and ired figure in the MMA world.
